The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, issued guidelines on sanitation and hygiene to contain the spread of Coronavirus disease. Based on those recommendations, here’s a short video of two approaches that can be taken by communities and individuals, especially those living in densely populated areas, to create their own foot operated hand-washing stations to avoid contact transmission at shared facilities. Handwashing, wearing a mask and social distancing are the ONLY three steps to containing the spread of disease in India! SO let’s help implement these systems together across communities in India!
